A 30-year-old man was arrested yesterday afternoon in connection to the slaying of Mary Freeman, a 48-year-old homeless woman.

Police were called to the intersection of San Bruno Avenue and 15th Street yesterday morning where they discovered the victim laying on the sidewalk. The woman was pronounced dead, and police have confirmed it was a homicide, however, they have not disclosed how the woman was killed.

Tracy Luong: Woman Arrested Again on Suspicion of Beating UCSF Medical Student to Death

Police say they have arrested a second suspect in the beating case of Joe Oliveras Hernandez, a UCSF medical student who was attacked while at a nightclub in SOMA three years ago.

Tracy Luong, 25, was re-arrested on Sunday after she turned herself into police, said Officer Albie Esparza. Luong, a San Jose resident, had been arrested in May 2011 in connection to the beating but was later released after the District Attorney's Office dropped the case against her.

Jose Manuel Puc-Muy Identified as Man Stabbed to Death in Market Street Apartment Building

Jose Manuel Puc-Muy was killed in San Francisco
Medical authorities this morning say it was 21-year-old Jose Manuel Puc-Muy who was found stabbed to death in the early-morning hours of Monday.

Police were called to an apartment building on the1700 block of Market Street at about 3:18 a.m. where they found Puc-Muy's body in the lobby of the building.

Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

San Francisco police are investigating an early-morning homicide where a man in his 20s was stabbed to death.

According to police, the call came in at about 3:18 a.m.; police responded to an apartment building on the 1700 block of Market Street where they found a man's body in the lobby of the building, ABC News reports.

Clifton Chatman: Cops Arrest Teen for Allegedly Killing Fellow Suspect During Robbery

San Francisco police arrested a teenage boy yesterday after he allegedly shot and killed 16-year-old Clifton Chatman, who police say was literally the suspect's partner-in-crime.

Sgt. Danielle Newman says the incident happened on Dec. 14 when a man was walking along the 500 block of Alemany Boulevard. A group of guys approached the victim and demanded his cellphone.

One of the robbers pulled out a gun while the other robbers rifled through the victim's pockets; the victim was not resisting and complying with the robbers' demands, but the armed man fired one shot at the victim anyhow, police said.

Clifton Chatman was shot to death
Authorities have identified the boy who was shot to death Saturday night as 16-year-old Clifton Chatman, a San Francisco resident.

The cops were called to Alemany Boulevard near Highway 280 at about 11 p.m. on reports of shots fired. When they arrived, they found Chatman and another male had been shot.

Chatman, who had been shot once, died at the scene, police told KTVU.

San Francisco police today arrested 23-year-old Joshua Pittman, a Sacramento resident, on suspicion of murdering 30-year-old Otto Brown earlier this summer.

According to police, Pittman was arrested on a $10 million homicide warrant in Antioch.

Brown, a San Francisco resident, was killed on June 30 at about 3 p.m. on the 700 block of Kirkwood Avenue in the city's Bayview neighborhood. He was in the street when he was shot multiple times, police said.

Kyle Hayes Identified as Man Gunned Down Near Elementary School

Medical authorities this morning identified the man who was shot to death outside of E.R. Taylor Elementary School yesterday afternoon as 35-year-old Kyle Hayes, a San Francisco resident.

At about 10:44 a.m., police were called to the intersection of Burrow and Holyoke streets after witnesses heard shots fired. When the cops arrived, they found Hayes with multiple gunshot wounds.

He died at the scene, according to police.

An unidentified man was shot and killed this morning in the Portola neighborhood, about a block away from an elementary school.

Officer Albie Esparza told us that the shooting happened at about 10:44 a.m. at Burrow and Holyoke streets near E.R. Taylor Elementary School. The man was shot multiple times and later died, Esparza said.

Man Selling PlayStation 4 Shot to Death in the Bayview (Update)

Update 4 p.m.: Police have arrested 21-year-old Ronnie Collins on suspicion of murder and attempted robbery. Police would not release his mugshot, pending identification matters.

Update 3 p.m.: Medical authorities identified the man who was killed as 22-year-old Ikenna Uwakah of Daly City.

Update 1 p.m.: Police have detained a suspect who is in custody now, but has not arrested at this time. The suspect was located in the Bayview District where the shooting took place. We'll keep you posted on any new details.

Original Story 7:15 a.m.:
San Francisco police are searching for the person who gunned down an unidentified man selling his PlayStation4 console yesterday afternoon.

According to police, the victim advertised the newly released PS-4 on Instagram where the potential buyer contacted him to purchase the console. At about 3:30 p.m., the victim and his girlfriend drove from Hayes Valley where they live to the Bayview where they had arranged to meet the buyer.

The couple arrived at Mendell Street and Galvez Avenue, but before they could even get out of the car, they were robbed at gunpoint. Despite turning over the Playstation console, the man was shot several times, according to press reports.
