If you live in San Francisco and you are a regular YouTube junkie, then you've probably seen your fair share of bike thieves v. angry people videos.

Remember the dude who was busted on camera stealing a bike during a Bike to Work Day event? That was a good one.

Today, we bring you another stellar bike theft video, which resurfaced on YouTube on Jan. 4, although the incident happened in 2011. According to the YouTube user Interesting VIdeos on Youtube, the video captures a dude stealing a bike outside the WCG Offices in San Francisco. The apparent theft happens at the 25-second mark. But before you get too pissed, just hold it together for another 10 seconds and watch how this woman completely kicks ass:

Consider this a nice reminder to keep close tabs on you precious bike.

I hope the bike was worth her risking her safety. I find her actions stupid.

I grew up in the city with a lot of bad people. That lady could of got hurt badly or maybe killed. Is it worth a bicycle?

Great work! "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men [and women] to do nothing." - JFK, credited to Edmund Burke

Marlene Soria Lopez – The bike was locked. You can tell the thief pulls out bolt-cutters to cut the lock or cable, then puts it in his black bag before riding off.

They forgot to beat the crap out of this POS. Great work though.

I wish someone had done that when my two bikes were stolen of the back of my car in the Marina Safeways parking lot at 5pm with a ton of people around. Good job.

Thanks Arthur. After I tackled the guy in the middle of the busy street we wrestled around for a few minutes. When the cops finally came (and I would like to add there were at least 15-20 people watching the entire thing go down...watch not help) they patted the guy down and found an 8" knife taped to his leg. It wasn't worth it, yet I'm not someone that can just watch things like this happen and do nothing. I'm pretty positive I'd do it again.

Why didn't they stop the guy? With this video evidence they could have made the charges stick.

I agree with Frank, its kind of stupid to risk bodily harm over a bike. Who knows if that person had a knife, a gun or was just in the mood to start swinging. Luckily that didn't happen.

Yeah it's nice, but my take is don't do this. It's not worth it and if you think otherwise read @Stephanie Colombo's comment.

I did the same thing and when the cops came let the guy go because the guy said it was his bike and had to snap the chain due to losing the key. Since I couldn't find the owner of the bike they let him go with the bike. I got bruised up pretty quickly since it was a battle for the bike in the middle of the street in front of the main library.

In 2002 in Brooklyn I did the same thing to recover my own vintage Raleigh that had been stolen that morning by the same guy who'd sold it to me a month before and before I had it fully restored. Wish I had video. I had on a miniskirt business suit and little ferragamo pumps. Priceless like my bike.

Cacti ally caught a thief trying to steal my bicycle. And he had the nerve to tell us it was his bicycle and was stealing it back! Then had ran off

I guess we have different opinions on what a tackle is. But kudos for stopping him either way!
