We just so happen to love the holidays -- and not just for all the presents, parties and ubiquitous cheer. We love holidays because it's the only time of the year we get to watch ice-skating drag queens.

Well, in San Francisco, that is.

On Thursday, at the skating rink in Union Square, flocked by tourists and holiday shoppers, San Francisco drag queens will lace up their skates and glide along the ice for the fourth annual Drag Queens On Ice: An Eleganza Extravaganza.

The only-in-San Francisco even starts at 8 p.m. and will feature five popular drag queens and kings who will skate individual routines to their favorite songs. And yes, of course, they'll be wearing amazing outfits that only a drag queen could truly pull off: pink tutus, full-length gowns, big-ass hair, and suggestive Santa-themed dresses.

Spectators will be regaled with free performances by Mutha Chuka, Ana Conda, Holotatt Tymes, Nellie, Kim ChiChi, and Mahlae Balenciaga. And for a small donation, fans can pose in a photobooth with Sister Roma of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. All donations go to charities that are partnered with the sisters.

"Sister Roma will be my right-hand nun," said Donna Sachet, who is hosting the event. "They say she is the most photographed nun in existence -- we'll see about that."

Oh, and the Bulls hockey players along with their cheerleaders will be there skating and posing for photos.

There will be an all skate followed by individual performances.
