BART trains are not stopping in El Cerrito del Norte this morning.
Update 8:28 a.m.: The El Cerrito Del Norte station is now open for normal service, however, there is still delays of up to 10 minutes systemwide .

Original Story 6:53 a.m.: BART trains are not stopping at the El Cerrito del Norte station and the Richmond Station is closed after an unidentified person was reportedly killed on the tracks early this morning.

BART has not released any information about the death at this time, however, CBS is reporting that the person was trapped under a train at the El Cerrito Del Norte Station.

The incident is affecting service in all directions, meaning there are major delays, according to BART. If you can't find another ride to work, a "very limited" bus bridge has been set up between Richmond-Del Norte-Plaza and North Berkeley. The Amtrak station at Richmond is still open, so that's an option. If your final destination is Del Norte or Richmond stations, go ahead and make other transportation plans.
