Man Shot Dead in Triple Shooting

Man shot dead near the Lower Haight
An unidentified man was shot dead in a triple shooting last night in the city's Hayes Valley neighborhood.

According to Officer Gordon Shyy, police got multiple calls at about 7:30 p.m. on reports of shooting on the 400 block of Rose Street. When police arrived, they found three victims with gunshot wounds, one with life-threatening injuries.

The three victims -- all male -- were taken to San Francisco General Hospital where one of the victims died. The other two victims were treated for non life-threatening injuries.

The Medical Examiner's Office has not yet identified the victim.

Meanwhile, police are interviewing the victims and witnesses, hoping to get some information about the shooters. Anyone with information on the shooting should contact the San Francisco Police at 552-1651.

It's the second shooting death this week. On Monday morning, 28-year-old Maurice White was gunned down in the city's Mission District. Police arrested 56-year-old Vincent Jacobo of San Francisco.
