Jimmy Chandler was killed last night
Authorities have identified the man who was killed in a double shooting in the Potrero Hill neighborhood as 24-year-old Jimmy Chandler.

At about 7:50 p.m., Chandler was inside a car with a woman on the intersection of 23rd and Arkansas when both were shot, said Officer Gordon Shyy.

Chandler and the female victim, also in her 20's, were taken to San Francisco General Hospital; Chandler died there. The woman is being treated for gunshot wounds to her arms and legs, and is expected to survive.

When police arrived at the scene, a large crowd had gathered around the crime scene, and additional cops were dispatched to deal with the crowds, Shyy said.

Police were unable to provide suspect information at this time. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call SFPD.

A crowd gathered, but nobody saw anything? What a bunch of pussies. You get the neighborhood you deserve. If you see something, say something - quit being so cowardice.

I can't take it anymore how every single post is about a murder, a stabbing, or an attack in the city I so dearly love! Why is there so much crime? Where is the safe city I grew up calling my favorite city in this whole world? Why so Much hatred? Where are the cops, where are the citizens who care? Why are people showing so much anger and hatred? Where's the positive, happy San Francisco news? What is going on can anyone explain this?
