DPT officer tackles man
An unidentified man died yesterday after he was tackled by a San Francisco DPT officer who witnessed the man assaulting a woman.

Officer Albie Eparza says the incident happened at about 12:35 p.m. near Eddy Street and Larch Way. The DPT officer saw the male, who was between 25 and 35 years old, attacking a 58-year-old woman. The DPT officer, presumably trying to break up the attack, tackled the man to the ground.

Both the man and the woman were taken to San Francisco General Hospital. The man died late last night.

The female victim is recovering from minor non life-threatening injuries.

Esparza said the death is considered suspicious until the Medical Examiner determines how the man died.

More bizarre things happen in San Francisco then LA. I think they just need to turn that entire city into a petting zoo

Was he taking on the phone and with no helmet on when he did this? I bet yes.
