San Francisco police this morning released a booking photo of 23-year-old Barry White, who has been accused of shooting to death two female employees of a SOMA gift shop Friday afternoon.

According to police, 23-year-old White walked into the multi-level Gift Center and Jewelry Mart on the 800 block of Brannan and opened fire on employees, killing two and injuring two others. White fled the scene, but surrendered to police nearby where he reportedly was covered in blood.

Police say White, an Antioch resident who had run-ins with police in the past, had made a transaction at the shop a few days prior to the shooting. However, the cops do not believe the shooting was an intended robbery.

The two victims were identified as 35-year-old Khin Min of San Francisco and 51-year-old Lina Lim of Daly City.

White was taken to the hospital to be treated for superficial injuries before being booked into County Jail on two counts of murder and seven for attempted murder. He will be arraigned today at 1:30 p.m.
