Now A Fallen Tree Is Ruining Your Morning Commute

Wasn't it perfectly sunny out yesterday?
Last week it was BART collisions and Bay Bridge closures. Today, it's a fallen tree that's probably going to delay some folks on their way to work -- or play.

According to press reports, a tree fell early this morning near the 1800 block of Lombard Street, blocking all westbound traffic.

No word on why the tree fell, but everyone except a parked car escaped injury.

As of this morning, city crews were working to remove the tree. Until then, you might want to take the Ferry if you were planning a trip across the Golden Gate Bridge.
