You're late!
Muni was delayed for more than an hour today after a man in a wheelchair reportedly fell in front of an outbound train at the Powell Station.

The Chron reports that at about 12:30 p.m., the man somehow fell onto the tracks in the path of an outbound N-Judah train.

According to reports, the train operator saw the man and quickly hit the emergency brake, bringing the train to a stop before it could hit the man.

The man was taken to a local hospital where he's being treated for his injuries, however the extent of his injuries is unknown.

Muni service through Powell Station was halted in both directions until 1:20 p.m. as crews worked to clear the scene, according to the Chron.

Terrible! How could this happen? Most people are a fair distance for edge even in rush times.
