Michelle Shocked's Wikipedia Page Was Briefly Updated to Call Her a "Bigot"

The alt-folk world is still dealing with its anger and confusion after learning that singer/songwriter Michelle Shocked was not only not gay but believed that "God hates fags" as she succinctly stated onstage at Yoshi's in San Francisco over the weekend.

Amid the canceled shows and PR nightmare, one of Shocked's fans-turned-critics quickly responded by kindly updating her Wikipedia profile to call her a closeted lesbian, among other things.

Of course, God or someone came in and wiped her profile clean, but not before Village Voice got the screen grab of it for all of us to enjoy:

Maybe she really didn't want to do this tour and thought of a sure fire way to get it completely canceled. She planned to say it, she made several remarks beforehand that at the time were cryptic but in hindsight, it was clear she knew she was going to do it before.

Because she was on drugs, and she's working out issues of her own and its herself she has issues with as an on again off again lesbian. Get some therapy already and stop bothering the rest of us with your issues and drug addled tirades, Shocked.
