Caltrain Kills Man, Major Delays During Morning Commute
Caltrain Spokeswoman Christine Dunn says that at about 6:50 a.m., a no. 211 train headed north hit a man at Charleston Road in Palo Alto. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The trains were stopped and a bus bridge was set up briefly.
As of 8:15 a.m., the bus bridge was canceled and both north and southbound trains were back in service, however, they were running at slow speeds and all trains will be stopping at all stations to accommodate riders.
In short, passengers should expect "major delays through the morning commute," Dunn said.
