Distraught Family Looking for Victoria "Torrie" Stevenson, Woman Missing in S.F.

Categories: Missing Person

Update 4:41 p.m.: Sgt. Michael Andraychak confirmed that foul play is not suspected in this case.

Original story 4:05 p.m.: A Brentwood family is asking for the public's help in finding 21-year-old Victoria "Torrie" Stevenson who has been missing since her boyfriend dropped her off in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood last Friday.

According to her stepfather, Michael Marden, Stevenson's boyfriend dropped her off at Market and Jones near World of Stereo for a job interview. The couple was supposed to meet up afterward, but Stevenson never showed up. Nobody has seen her or heard from her since.

Her family filed a missing person report with the San Francisco Police Department. We contacted the SFPD to get more information, and will update this story when we hear back.

Marden says Stevenson was supposedly headed to the Tenderloin for a job interview, but indicated it was possible she was there for reasons other than to seek employment. "We all know what happens down in Tenderloin, so we don't know if she was coming to hang out with the people."

"She also thinks she is street smart," Marden says. "I could see her hanging out with the wrong people and finding herself in a situation where she was in over her head."

Her family has been talking to people and businesses in the Tenderloin, some who claim they have seen Stevenson in the area before, hanging out and smoking cigarettes in front of stores; she was even known to stay at homeless shelters in the area, Marden says.

Stevenson is 5-foot-4 and 115 pounds, with long brown hair, hazel eyes, and tattoos. She was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans, and a backpack. If anyone sees her or has any information about Stevenson, please contact her family at (925) 364-5004, or call 911.

Her family is offering a reward for her safe return.

"We just want to hear from her and try to get her home," Marden says. "We are just praying for the best."

"no foul play suspected" and an article strongly suggesting she was a druggie or a prostitute.   so, is sfpd not working on it?

Hey Wendy, if that "corner" is so bad, how about you step out of your safe little pathetic bubble and GO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT?

I find it amazing how absolutely pathetic you middle-class losers are in the Bay Area.  Nothing but money-obsessed NIMBY losers.  Totally incapable of putting any kind of effort or risk into helping the community.  No... no... just gotta avoid it and spend our days spending money and more dumb **** to make us forget reality, right?

Oh gee wow!  I wonder what we are going to buy today!  Kekekekeke!

You are a pathetic terrible human being.

No decent boyfriend in his right mind would drop-off his girlfriend on that corner. I hope that she's alright.
