Texas Governor Rick Perry to Land in S.F. Next Week

Earlier this week, Texas Gov. Rick Perry went on the airwaves, warning California that he was coming to poach our businesses.

Now the governor/failed presidential candidate might not know a lot of things, like what the voting age is, but he sure as hell knows that it's going to take a lot more than a $24,000 radio ad to convince California businesses to dump this breeding ground of beauty and head to that breeding ground of WTF.

According to news reports, the Lone Star State governor is packing his boots and making his way to California next week, with planned stops in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. There he will meet with business leaders in the high tech, biotechnology, financial, insurance, and film industries, and attempt to cajole them into coming down south, as in Texas, not Los Angeles.

Rick Perry trying to have a thoughtful discussion with Mark Zuckerberg -- now that should be a fun YouTube video to watch. We expect the governor's intellectual sit-downs to not be much different than this:
