This is one time you can say it's worth every calorie
Eating fatty pizza has officially become a good deed.

This week you and your friends can eat at any California Pizza Kitchen across the state and 20 percent of your bill will go to help the families of two Los Angeles police officers who were shot and killed by former LA cop Christopher Dorner.

The charitable eating event will continue through Thursday, but don't forget to print this flyer and bring it with you to make sure your money gets donated.

On Feb. 3, a very disgruntled Dorner went on a nine-day shooting spree, targeting his former police colleagues and their families. In the end, he killed four people, including Riverside Police Officer Michael Crain and San Bernardino County Detective Jeremiah MacKay.

On Feb. 12, police tracked Dorner to a cabin in Big Bear where there was a shootout before cops fired tear gas canisters into the cabin, causing a fire. The cabin burned to the ground and Dorner's charred body was found with a single gunshot to his head; authorities believe he shot himself as the cabin was burning.

So head down to the Financial District and get your pizza so you, too, can help those devastated families rebuild their lives as best they can.
