Cops Looking for Ricky Philsith, Man Accused of Choking, Sexually Assaulting Woman
San Francisco police are asking for your help finding the man who has been accused of attacking a woman in the Outer Richmond area earlier this month. ![]()

According to police, on Jan. 7, 35-year-old Ricky Philsith (aka Ratanaphon Philsith), attempted to sexually assault the victim on the 400 block of 39th Avenue. When she resisted, he started choking her and then stabbed her in the head with a knife.
Police say the suspect had previously threatened to kill the victim and her boyfriend. He's known to have two firearms registered to him and carries a knife, and may be in possession of these weapons.
Police have issued a felony warrant for his arrest. Philsith's is known to drive a dark gray, four-door 2011 Toyota Sienna, with the license plate number KUMAN77.
Philsith is described as a 6-foot male, weighing 180 pounds. He has black hair, black eyes, and pockmarks on his face. He speaks fluent Thai and limited English.
