Police Looking for Dexter Oliver, Man Accused of Setting Woman on Fire

Police are looking for a 22-year-old man who allegedly tossed flammable liquid on the woman he'd been dating, setting fire to her.

Yesterday about 12:17 p.m. officers in the Bayview responded to the area of Hollister and Jennings streets on reports that a woman had been severely burned. When they arrived, the cops located a women in her 20s with life-threatening burns all over her body.

Police say Oliver threw an ignitable liquid onto her body, causing the severe burns. The victim was rushed to St. Francis Hospital's Burn Center where the she is in critical condition.

SFPD is currently looking for Oliver, who is facing attempted murder charges, including arson. According to police, he's approximately 5-foot-10, weighing about 155 pounds. Oliver was last seen wearing a red-and-white hoodie, dark pajama pants with multicolored shamrock print, and gray-and-red Nike tennis shoes. Oliver also has a design haircut of a fish on one side and a lighting bolt on the other.

If you see the suspect or come in contact with him, police are advising that you call them ASAP.
