Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone Says Gay Marriage Is as Impossible as Men Breastfeeding
San Francisco's favorite sinner, Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone, apparently has just as much to learn about gay marriage as he does about the drinking and driving laws. ![]()
It's as possible as gay marriage
The man of God reportedly told an English Catholic newspaper that legalizing same-sex marriage was sorta like legalizing male-breastfeeding.

Archbishop Cordileone cautions against over-using the term "gay marriage", advising that it should be used "only sparingly" because it is a natural impossibility and if we keep talking about gay marriage we might fool ourselves into thinking it is an authentic reality, which only needs government approval to make it legitimate. He compares it with another impossibility: "Legislating for the right for people of the same sex to marry is like legalising male breastfeeding."
Don't forget this is the same man who was busted last summer driving his mother and some friends home after an evening of dinner and drinks. Cordileone reached a sobriety checkpoint near San Diego State University just after midnight where he was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
After spending the night in jail, he apologized to his friends and family, and began praying that God "in his inscrutable wisdom, will bring some good out of this."
