Be careful out there
San Francisco police are investigating a scary incident where two men were violently attacked while parking their car in the Castro neighborhood recently.

On Nov. 30, the two men were getting out of the car after parking at 18th and Hartford streets at about 1:30 a.m. when two guys with guns approached them. According to Officer Albie Esparza, one of the suspects hit the driver in the head with the butt of a gun and forced the two victims back inside the car.

The two attackers, who were in the back seat, continued pistol-whipping the man before telling him to drive -- with the kidnappers still in the car.

They drove for about two blocks when the suspects told him to stop; they robbed the two men and ran off, Esparza said.

Press reports say the suspects called the two men "faggots" while pistol-whipping the driver, however Esparza confirmed that never happened and said this incident -- while awful -- was not classified as a hate crime.

"This is a straight-up robbery and kidnapping with a gun," Esparza said.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he was treated for minor head injuries. The second victim was unhurt.

The suspects were described as black men, one wearing a black jacket and one wearing a gray jacket.

All the other news websites , to include the SF Examiner , would've described the suspects "

men , one wearing a..etc...."  BayGuardian wouldn't even touch this one , period , as they view the

'criminal classes' as a potential revolutionary class as according to Mao...Good reporting , Erin Sherbert..
