San Francisco police are investigating another suspicious death, this one involving a 75-year-old woman who was found floating in the Hyde Street Harbor at Fisherman's Wharf Friday afternoon.

The Medical Examiner's Office this morning identified the woman as Feng Xian Yang Ng, a San Francisco resident.

According to Officer Gordon Shyy, police were called to the harbor about noon Friday where they found Ng, who was declared dead at the scene. Police have not yet said how she died, but have deemed her death "suspicious."

"It's still under investigation," Shyy told us.

The Hyde Street Harbor opened in 2001 to accommodate the seasonal fishing fleets that deliver herring, salmon, and crab to the fish processors at Pier 45, according to the port website.
