Why can't everyone get along?
Another man remains in critical condition today after he was was brutally attacked over the weekend -- just for his cellphone.

According to police, the 25-year-old man was at the corer of Bay and Columbus streets about 3 a.m. on Sunday when two men came at him from opposite directions.
One of the suspects knocked the victim to the ground and the second suspect stabbed him repeatedly, said Officer Albie Esparza. While the victim was being stabbed, the first suspect took the man's cellphone; both suspects ran off, leaving the bleeding victim on the street.

The victim was able to walk home. His roommate drove him to St. Francis Hospital, and he was later transferred to San Francisco General Hospital, where he's in life-threatening condition, police said.

The first suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his 20s, and the second suspect was described as a black man in his 20s.

On Friday, police issued a crime alert asking the public to help look for two men who beat a 63-year-old man just to get his cellphone. You can see the photos of the suspects here.

Anyone with any information on either incident should contact San Francisco police via anonymous tip line at 575-4444, or Text-a-Tip to TIP411 with SFPD in the field.
