Nancy Pelosi Gets Upset When Reporter Asks if She's Too Old to Be House Minority Leader (Video)
| Reporter disrespects one of America's most powerful elders |
After the 72-year-old San Francisco Democrat ticked off all the reasons why she wants to continue her leadership position, she opened the door to questions -- and then shut it abruptly when a reporter asked whether she thought she might be keeping "younger talent" from rising in the party.
In this video, you will hear NBC's Luke Russert ask Pelosi for a response regarding talk among Democrats that her decision to stay was perhaps hurting the party. Needless to say, the question didn't go over well, with Pelosi -- or her fellow female Democrats standing around her -- hissing and booing.
In Pelosi's defense, 70 is the new 50.
