A 21-year-old man is recovering today after he was stabbed in the head during a fight at the Powell Street Muni station last night, according to police.

Officer Gordon Shyy had very little information, but told us that the victim was at the station just before midnight when a fight broke out among three people, including the victim. The suspect, who hasn't been identified, took out a knife and slashed the victim in the head.

When the cops arrived, they detained a 39-year-old man as the possible suspect. However, the victim, who police believe may have been drunk, was uncooperative and wouldn't identify the suspect. As a result, the detained man was released, and everyone went their separate ways.

The victim went to the hospital, where doctors treated him for a head injury, and said he was going to be just fine.
