Man Shoots at Cop From Moving Vehicle
| What kind of idiot shoots at a cop? |
According to Sgt. Michael Andraychak, the incident started about 1:30 a.m., when a cop was shot at "multiple times" from a moving vehicle with three suspects aboard. The officer was able to maneuver around the suspect vehicle to dodge the line of fire.
The officer called for backup while chasing the fleeing vehicle through the Mission District. Three suspects jumped out of the car as it approached the 2500 block of Bryant Street; the officer caught up with one of the suspects, but the two others got away, according to police.
The cops set up a perimeter as they combed the surrounding area for the two suspects. That's all the information we have at this time, but we will tell you more when we know more.
