On both Saturday and Sunday, the Peninsula Humane Society is asking you to come down to Burlingame and put your hands on its buns. Translation: Come adopt a friggin' bunny already.

To really entice you, the agency is slashing adoption fees for the rabbits by 50 percent, that includes spay and neutering. You'll also get a 10 percent discount on rabbit starter-kits. All told you could walk out of there with a bunny for just $20.
If you are worried about being a bad bunny owner, there will be volunteers on hand to help educate you on the rights of rabbits, including how to properly clip their nails. Believe it or not, you can train a rabbit. Who knew?
So stop being selfish and go adopt a rabbit that really needs a home. The event is at 1450 Rollins Rd. in Burlingame. Adoptions start at noon.
