Driver Shot to Death While Sitting in His Car, Homicide No. 51
| Why can't people stop killing each other? |
According to news reports, two men -- who were only described as being in their 20s -- were both sitting inside the car on the corner of Fourth and Mission streets when shots were fired. The driver died at the scene and the second victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, but is expected to survive.
No arrests have been made. Anyone with information about the murder should call the SFPD's anonymous tip line at 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411.
It's the city's 51st homicide this year. Last month, 20-year-old Jesus Solis was gunned down in broad daylight in the Mission District. Police arrested Adrian Landers, 18, and 20-year-old Dylan Lemalie on suspicion of killing Solis.
