Another shooting
Two men are in critical condition after a gunman opened fire in the Tenderloin neighborhood this afternoon, police said.

Investigators are still at the crime scene, which occurred on the 200 block of Leavenworth, trying to piece together exactly what happened.

Officer Carlos Manfredi said at about 2:43 p.m., the cops arrived at the scene where they found two men lying on the ground with gunshot wounds. One man has been shot in the head, and the second victim had been shot in the chest. Both victims were taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Manfredi says he could not yet confirm whether the shooting was related to the Giant parade, however, the incident was only a few blocks away from the Civic Center where the parade ended.

Police have no suspect information at this time, and the gang task force is on the scene right now.  We will tell you more when we know more.
