Traffic Snarls East Bay After Pedestrian Killed on Highway

As if Mondays weren't bad enough.

Traffic is reportedly backed up along I-580 all the way to Livermore after a pedestrian was killed earlier this morning.

According to the Chron, all lanes of southbound I-680 were closed around 3:30 a.m. after the unidentified pedestrian walking on the roadway was hit near Stoneridge Drive in Pleasanton.

The lanes weren't opened until 6:30 a.m., but that hasn't done much to ease the morning commute, which is reportedly no better than a parking lot.
