Wanted!
The wanted groper in Palo Alto may have resurfaced yesterday with his unwanted behavior.

A woman, who was only described as being in her 20s, was jogging through El Palo Alto Park near 102 Palo Alto Ave just before 7 a.m. on Wednesday when a man grabbed her from behind, according to police.

Police told reporters that the man wrapped his arms around her, grabbed one of her breasts, and tried to pull her down. The woman screamed and was able to free herself from his grip. She fell to the ground and the man jogged away, headed south on Alma Street.

The victim, who was not injured, got up and followed the suspect as she dialed 911. The suspect was last seen jogging east on Hawthorne Avenue. Officers searched the area with a K-9 unit, but were unable to track down the fondler.

Police are pretty sure this is the same man who groped two other women earlier this month; one woman was grabbed by the breast as she walked the Stanford Shopping Center, and another woman was walking to her car when a man came up behind her and reached up her dress.

In all three cases, the suspect was described as possibly Middle Eastern or Hispanic, around 40 years old, 5-foot-9, with a medium build and thick hair.

"We are concerned about all of these events, but we are particularly concerned about this one, as it appears as though the suspect's behavior may be escalating," Lt. Zach Perron told media outlets.
