San Francisco police are asking for your help in tracking down the people who shot and killed 21-year-old Lawrence Richardson as he left a Western Addition grocery store earlier this year.

On April 2, about 10:30 p.m., Richardson was walking out of a corner store at Divisadero and Eddy streets when he was shot multiple times by several people. Lawrence, who is survived by his father and mother, had a 1-year-old girl at the time of his death, said Officer Carlos Manfredi.

This crime happened along a busy thoroughfare, in a thriving neighborhood, which means someone must have seen something, police said.
Homicide investigators are asking for any witnesses, or anyone with information about this murder and is willing to help police identify the shooters, to please contact SFPD immediately.

You can contact Inspector Velarde, Inspector Dedet, or Sgt. Warnke of the SFPD Homicide Detail at 553-1145 (weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Or if you want to remain anonymous, you can also use the anonymous tip line at 575-4444, or Text a Tip to "TIP411"and begin your text message with "SFPD."
