Kenyon Youngstrom, CHP Cop Shot in Head, Dies
According to press reports, Officer Kenyon Youngstrom, 37, was pronounced dead at 6:05 p.m. at John Muir Medical Center. He leaves behind a wife and four children. A CHP helicopter flew above the hospital, sounding a siren to mark the officer's death.
"This has been a tragedy for the family and has affected us deeply to the core," CHP Captain Jonni Fenner told reporters. "Officer Youngstrom was a giving man. A man of great faith. He believed in service and contribution."

Youngstrom's partner fired back at Lacy, killing him.
Two funds have been created for those wishing to contribute to Kenyon Youngstrom's wife and four children, one at Mechanics Bank and the other at Wells Fargo. Donations can be dropped off at any branch in the family's name.
