Has no widow's peak
The normally unapologetic John Burton says he's really sorry for hurting any feelings over at the GOP camp after he likened Republicans to a bunch of propaganda-spewing Nazis.

Burton, the chairmain of the California Democratic Party, issued a sincere apology to the GOP yesterday, which is news in itself since the loose-lipped Dem is more known for his colorful comments than for expressing remorse for them.

"If Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, or the Republicans are insulted by my describing their campaign tactic as the big lie -- I most humbly apologize to them or anyone who might have been offended by that comment."

But for the record, Burton said, he never uttered the word "Nazi."

"To be clear I did not call Republicans Nazis, nor would I ever," Burton said in a statement. "In fact, I didn't even use the word."

No, but he did use the name Joseph Goebbels, which is synonymous with "Nazi."

In any event, listen to the full, exclusive interview with KCBS.

Burton doesn't know Goebbels was a nazi? Yeah. Right.
