Beat 'em ... but not literally
The Los Angeles Dodgers weren't the only ones who took a beating at AT&T Park Sunday night.

San Francisco police tracked down a drunken baseball fan who allegedly beat up another man inside a bathroom at the stadium for unknown reasons. Officer Albie Esparza tells us that 26-year-old Christopher Torii Smith walked into the men's bathroom at AT&T Park and began hitting a 21-year-old man as he used the restroom. Smith allegedly punched the victim several times, knocking him to the ground, and continued attacking him a little longer before the victim jumped up and ran away, Esparza said.

Witnesses called the police who, within minutes, found Smith lingering around the plaza near Lefty O'Douls.
Smith was arrested on suspicion of battery and public intoxication. However, police could not say what motivated the attack -- no word on whether the sports fans were rooting for rival teams.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated for a sizable laceration to his lip, police said.

Smith is reportedly awaiting trial in May on two charges of DUI causing serious injury or death, according to the Washoe County District Attorney's Office. He was allegedly under the influence of marijuana on Dec. 30 when he fatally struck two people who were walking in a crosswalk in Incline Village, Nev., Nevada Highway Patrol officials told media outlets.
