A San Francisco man spent the weekend in jail after he allegedly assaulted and abducted a elementary school girl in San Mateo on Friday afternoon.

According to police, 25-year-old Bradley Mrozek contacted the 9-year-old girl at Parkside Elementary School, assaulted her and then transported her a short distance away from the school in an attempt to isolate her."

The girl reportedly escaped her captor after she kicked him hard and ran back to school where she reported the incident.

Police caught up with Mrozek on Saturday, and believe he's potentially a suspect in two other incidents at San Mateo schools in the last week.

In the first incident, school officials at Horrall school escorted a man off campus. In the second incident, students at Bayside Academy claimed that a stranger was offering them alcohol.

Police are continuing to investigate all three incidents and are asking anyone with information to call investigators at (650) 522-7650. Anonymous tips can be reported at (650) 522-7676, or send a text to (650) 262-3473.
