SF Weekly at first mistook this creature for a Made-in-Taiwan decoration. We were disabused of our mistake when he slowly opened just his right eye and directed a cough-like bark at us out of the side of his mouth.
We were unable to track down the driver, who left his cab -- and companion -- parked on Van Ness near Grove. But Yellow Cab's dispatcher described the dog as "very well-behaved. He doesn't bite, he's very friendly."
He just doesn't like when you take his picture, it would seem.
