San Francisco police have caught up with a window-smashing burglar who they said hit the same downtown business four times, swiping $7,000 worth of booze.

Officer Carlos Manfredi tells us that 40-year-old John Fradet was arrested yesterday on suspicion of burglary after police busted the parolee in the act of breaking into a local restaurant.

Police say over the last few weeks, Fradet smashed the window of the same restaurant, located on the 500 block of Second Street, and stole a shitload of alcohol on three different occasions.
He allegedly went back for more on Aug. 2, when San Francisco police conducted a stakeout and said they spotted Fradet "gain unlawful entry." When police descended on the parolee, they found him with enough booze to kill you.

The cops then reviewed surveillance video, which helped them link Fradet to all four burglaries.

He was arrested and charged with commercial burglary. The total cost to that unfortunate restaurant, including stolen booze and broken glass, is $33,000.
