Life is like a box of the stuff they'll be getting at the library today...
Nine times out of 10, if you see something resembling chocolate at a San Francisco library, it's not chocolate.

Today will be the 10th time.

The Portola Branch will be hosting a tasting of "chocolates of the world" today for kids ages 10 to 18, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The library is located at 380 Bacon Street, and librarian and organizer Ileana Pulu says she "just might" incorporate some bacon into the menu.

The library can handle 20 kids at a time, and participants will get "not a Halloween amount, but pretty close" sampling of chocolate from Belgium and several other undisclosed countries where chocolate is made (you can find chocolate just about anywhere, but we have a feeling it'll be from more traditional spots).

Pulu says no one will be turned away. Until they run out of chocolate.

Then you'll just have to read about it.
