Update: Police identified the driver as Rostislav Bushler.

A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being a really horrible driver after he treated the Richmond District like his own personal video game, hitting everything in sight.

Officer Gordan Shyy tells us the man was driving his 2005 Ford near Fourth Avenue and Geary Boulevard last night when he rear-ended a woman. The careless and callous driver then sped off and crashed into a nearby building.

He then backed up and sped off from that scene, too, and kept driving until he crashed into a slew of parked cars.

At that point, police were already on the driver's trail, so he really couldn't get away. Witnesses say they saw him board Muni after the final crash. He was stopped by police at Third and Balboa where he was arrested on suspicion of hit and run as well as DUI. Fortunately, the woman was not critically injured.

But it's guys like this who give California driver's a bad name.
