There won't be much merchandise to choose from in jail
A federal grand jury put an end to four females' illegal shopping spree this week after they were busted defrauding Nordstrom using bogus gift cards.

According to federal prosecutors, Myra B. Minks, Tiffany T. Conley, Letitia R. Mays, and Andrea C. Mohr allegedly duped sales clerks into crediting their Nordstrom gift cards using fictitious refund transactions. Once the gift card balances had been credited, the women then used the cards to go shopping.

What's more, they would often return the purchased merchandise at stores across California for cash or credits to their bank cards, prosecutors say.

The women were charged with conspiracy to commit access device fraud and wire fraud, as well as a slew of other charges.

If convicted, the women could get up to 30 years behind bars and be forced to pay $250,000 in restitution.
