A shocking crime
This is scary.

A 34-year-old man awoke on the pavement in the Outer Sunset District last night with some pain to his abdomen and without his wallet.

According to police, the victim was walking home at 9:31 p.m. when he was tased while at the intersection of Great Highway and Noriega.

While the victim was knocked out, the robber took his iPod, wallet, cash, credit cards, and driver's license. When the man woke up, he couldn't remember anything, but found the Taser on the ground next to him, according to police.

"Anytime someone is tased, it's pretty scary because not many criminals carry them," said Officer Albie Esparza. "It's disturbing because that means they are running around with Tasers and robbing people."
