Can't we all just get along?
A 21-year-old man was shot to death last night near the Sunnydale housing projects, the second one in that neighborhood this week.

According to Officer Albie Esparza, police were called to the 1800 block of Sunnydale just before 10 p.m. on reports of a man shot. When they arrived, they found the victim with gunshot wounds to his upper body.

He was declared dead at the scene.
Medical authorities tell us they have identified the victim, but would not release his name until they reached his family. Police have made no arrests, nor do they have a suspect description to give us at this time.

The shooting death marks the city's 36th homicide this year. Yesterday, police announced that 22-year-old Darius Williams died after being shot near the Sunnydale projects earlier this week.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact the anonymous tip line at 575-4444, or Text-a-Tip to TIP411 and include SFPD in the subject line.
