Lupe Mercado, Barry Gilton Accused of Murdering Calvin Sneed

According to Sgt. Michael Andraychak, Lupe Mercado, 37, and Barry Gilton, 38, both of San Francisco, were arrested on Friday on suspicion of homicide. The two were booked into San Francisco County Jail.
On June 4 about 2 a.m., Sneed was driving along Le Conte and Mead Street in the Bayview when he was shot in the head, causing his car to crash into another parked vehicle, police said.
When police arrived, they found Sneed, a Compton resident, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he later died.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Sgt. Braconi, Sgt. Watts, Inspector Jones, or Inspector Cunningham of the SFPD Homicide Detail at 553-1145.
Police would not release booking photos yet, saying there are still pending identification issues.
