Bay Area Man Severs His Own Penis With X-Acto Knife

Just ouch

We've heard of angry women cutting off their man's penis, but a man has to be really upset about something to castrate himself.

According to press reports, Fremont officers were called to the 4300 block of Mowry Avenue about 2 a.m Wednesday after a 20-year-old man had cut off his penis with an X-Acto knife.

Much to our surprise, the victim was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol, Detective Bill Veteran said, yet we still have no idea what motivated the man to sever his private part.

Police were able to locate the man's penis, and doctors are working to reattach the organ.

Naturally, the man -- whose identify is being withheld -- will undergo a psychological evaluation.

I have border line personality .. lots of people don't really understand it, but I would never cut my boob off or whatever else a girl might cut off! Gross. Being borderline is like having depression or anxiety and tend to b more into addiction or promiscuity .. some tend to cut. But not chop off body parts .... I have a feeling it was a little bit of A more extreme condition .. its sad that he wasn't receiving the help he needed.
