Man Shoots Three Women in the Tenderloin
| Man on the run |
According to Sgt. Daryl Fong, the shooting happened just after 1 p.m. on the corner of Ellis and Leavenworth. When police arrived, they found three women with gunshot wounds to their lower body. All three were taken to San Francisco General Hospital and are expected to survive.
"It was not a random shooting," Fong told us.
Police told the Chron that one of the victims might be the shooter's ex-girlfriend. However, Fong said they weren't 100 percent positive of this, and were not prepared to confirm those reports.
Meanwhile, the shooter is still on the lam, and traffic is being diverted.
