Man arrested in homicide
Police have arrested a 19-year-old San Francisco man for allegedly murdering 40-year-old Ronald Monzon back in March.

Anthony Lacayo was taken into custody yesterday afternoon at 850 Bryant Street and booked into San Francisco County Jail on murder charges. Police would not release his booking photo just yet, pending further identification issues.

On March 9 at about 7:22 p.m., police were called to the intersection of 23rd and Shotwell streets on reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found Monzon in a car that appeared to have been involved in a collision with several other vehicles.

Officers determined that Monzon, a resident of the Central Valley town of Newman, had been shot as he was driving along Shotwell. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he later died.
