Three Teens Shot, One Dead; Homicide No. 20
| Another man killed |
On Friday at about 8:46 p.m., police were called to the intersection of Griffith and Palou where they found three teens who had been shot with a handgun. The first victim, an 18-year-old who has not yet been identified, had been shot in the chest and was dead when police got there.
Two more victims, one 18 and another 19 years old, were shot in the shoulder and wrist, and were taken to San Francisco General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police have no leads, nor were they able to given suspect descriptions at this time. Medical authorities are still trying to locate the family of the teen who died.
Friday's shooting was the city's 20th homicide this year. Earlier this month, 21-year-old Lawrence Richardson was shot to death as he walked out of corner store on Eddy Street.
Anyone with information about Friday night's murder is asked to call police at 575-4444 or text information to TIP411.
