Man Critically Injured in Bayview Shooting

According to police, officers were called to the intersection of Third and Galvez just before midnight on Saturday on reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they saw the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest.
He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police interviewed the victim, who would not tell them anything other than he was shot by a black man who fled the scene before officers arrived.
