How to really hurt a man ...
Update: The bartender explains how the Marina girl was switching out her high heels with flip flops when the assault started. Read updated story after the jump.

Original story (2:25 p.m.) A local barkeep discovered the real pain a woman can inflict when a drunk, well-dressed female smacked him over the head with her offensively high heel.

We found the news on Eater SF, which reports that Matthew Meidinger, general manager of Jasper's Corner Tap, ended up in the ER on Saturday night after a very drunk woman smacked him upside the head with her pump outside the Balboa Cafe in the Marina.

Meidinger explains what happened on Twitter:

"This drunk woman cracked my skull with the heel of her shoes. Spent the night in the ER. This woman smashed me in the head with her heels then jumped in a cab."

You can find a photo of the alleged high-heel hitter here.

Does anyone know this woman? If so, contact Jasper's, because Meidinger is offering a $500 reward to anyone who can tell him the girl's last name. That oughta buy you a few round of drinks.

(Update 3:45 p.m.): Meidinger writes in to Eater SF to explain exactly what happened before the high heel came crashing down on him. Apparently, he was drinking at the Balboa Cafe with some buddies when he went outside to catch a cab. The drunk girl was taking off her high heels when another man kicked one of them accidentally. She started yelling at the man and her friend punched him.

That's when Meidinger shouted: "Whoa! Take it easy! Kicking a shoe doesn't equal a punch in the face, Louboutins or not!"

You know how the story ends.

Those killers heels were taken seriously and literally by that woman. It's a very disturbing news and hopefully it doesn't happen anymore.
