This Armored Car Crash Only Looked Like a Heist

When a Garda armored car crashed into a black Ford F-450 parked in front of the Trader Joe's on Bay and Mason streets earlier this afternoon, the scene only looked like something out of some crime movie.

A witness at the scene told SF Weekly that the cab of the armored car got too close to the parked truck's tricked-out oversized tires, and the driver lost control. Nobody was in the parked truck, but a Garda employee in the rear of the armored car was not wearing a seat belt and suffered injuries to his face and leg.

​The biggest surprise: It took about 10 minutes before the cops showed up to an armored car crash. Do not use this information for evil.
