Dateline's Chris Hansen Nabs S.F. Liquor Stores for Claiming Winning Lottery Tickets

Categories: Crime, WTF?
Chris Hansen, Dateline's personal pervert-catcher, has a new gig busting liquor stores for lottery theft, and guess where his latest stop was? Yep, San Francisco.

That's right, Hansen and his camera crew recently descended on a Richmond District liquor store where he calls out Tom Nguyen, owner of the Lincoln Park Market on Clement Street, for attempting to cash in a $10,000 winning ticket, which, by the way, wasn't his.

Hansen then takes his "gotcha"-style journalism to the Fulton Food Shop in Western Addition, where he gives us an intriguing story about a traveling $10,000 ticket that mysteriously made its way to the Peninsula.

Needless to say, it's fun to watch these clerks try to talk their way out of a crime on camera.

Throw the book at them, their loyal customers trusted them to do the right thing.  They are thieves, plain and simple.  You can bet it happened more then one time, they just didn't get caught.
